Plugin not working & showing message “Redirection’s database needs to be updated

    A few days ago, I have changed my hosting. I have transferred website all files and database. Everything was working fine to me. After change the hosting I have updated all the plugins and WordPress 5.0(7-8 days ago).
    I didn’t notice any change that time. But, I am seeing above notice from last 3-4 days.
    Only Redirection plugin was not working, and it’s showing this message “Redirection’s database needs to be updated – click to update”. If I click the update button, it does not update anything just show a blank page(Only Text: Update Required”).

    I had lots of redirection URL. So, I need to solve this problem as quickly as possible.

    How can I solve this?

    Your redirects are still working.

    What version are you using? The upgrade message is hidden by some other plugins, and this doesn’t happen in 3.7.2

    I have updated plugin and it is Version 3.7.2
    I cannot view any setting of the plugin. Just a blank page with this text “Update Required”.
    What can i do now?

    It is likely the same problem I described. Can you clear your browser cache and try again?

    If that doesn’t help then there are two options – you can try disabling other plugins and see what is causing the problem, or if you allow me temporary access to the site I can diagnose the issue.

    Noting here that the problem was indeed another plugin hiding the upgrade notice. It was also hiding the upgrade notice of several plugins.

    I was able to show the notice and continue with the upgrade.

    I will add something into the plugin to prevent it notice being hidden.

    Plugin developer helped me to solved this problem. I never expected this kind support ??
    Thank you very much.

    N.B: Redirection Plugin was conflicting with my Visual Composer Plugin.

    I enabled Redis on my website and now keep seeing “Redirection’s database needs to be updated” message even after updating.

    @mborin that does not seem related to the original and now solved problem. Can you start a new thread with more details?
