Plugin not working with jquery in defer mode

What is the reason to use defer mode?

Hi, because I follow the guidelines of google https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ where jquery (self hosted or cdn) and all .js in defer mode make load more fasted in my blog.

Any way to call the .js of your plugin by functions.php to avoid any incompatibility with jquery in defer mode?

Did you find a solution? For me it works in Firefox and Chrome but not in IE if I have it deferred.
