[Plugin: nrelate Related Content] Always the same posts

  • Hello,
    I install the nrelate plug-in into my wordpress site because i wanna to have a plug-in which has the thumbnail option, and because i use the site only to post youtube videos, this plug-in generates a thumbnail from the youtube video. (another great plug-in is the Yet Another Related Posts Plugin, but in the thumbnail template which have, it doesn’t work).
    So, everything is ok, the plug-in works but it’s pretty much always the same related posts. I see many articles that i’ve post, and they are the same results.
    Does anyone know how can i change this bug ?

    i even went 1 year ago, and is the same related and the articles back then.

    @ilovehousegr– The issue is caused by no body content at all in your posts. We are working on an improvement that should fix this and work well for your site. It should be released in about 3 weeks.

    Do you know if the plug-in work only with the body content or it work with the tags too ? If it works with the tags too, i can try to put tags into my posts (although i tried and put tags for one artist but the related posts was unrelated ..)

    @ilovehousegr– The next release will fix your current issue and use Tags to help determine relevancy. If you start Tagging your content now, the next version of nRelate will use them.

    hello, I also wonder if I can make my posts relative by tags. Are there any news?

    I’m looking forward to installing your plugin.

    My new blog runs on the latest WP version, and I’d prefer to have all my plugins installed at once.

    Given your last message, and the fact I only have a few posts so far, should I wait until the new release, or install the plugin now and just update it once the new release comes out?

    @new2wp2012 — So glad to hear that you want to use our plugin on your site! I would say go ahead and install the plugin now. New posts will be automatically added to our index as they are published, and you can always update once the new release comes out.
