[Plugin: Officers Directory] inserting forward slash at apostrophes and quotes

    When you send an email via this form if you’ve used apostrophes and/or quotation marks, in the message body text area, then the recipient email has forward slashes in front of the apostrophes and quotation marks.

    Examples:
    I’m becomes I\’m
    and
    “Information Management” becomes \”Information Managment\”

    Ok I have fixed the issue with slash inserted in front of apostrophes by disabling magic quotes in the php.ini file.

    I am still having the problem with it inserting a slash in front of quotation marks.

    Any ideas how to remedy this please??

    After further research I found this is purposely set to occur to prevent malicious html activity via the form. I am marking this resolved.
