[Plugin: oik-nivo-slider] Slider stops showing "dot links" and "arrows" after up

After upgrading OIK Nivo slider and OIK base to the new versions, my slider has stopped showing both the “dots” below the slider (to navigate between slides), and the “arrows” (superimposed on slides).
