  • Same problem.

    Terrible.

After installing and activating the plugin I tried to create a Child of a theme called GONZO.

The result was lots of error messages and my site going blank.

I was unable to access the Dashboard.

    To salvage the situation ….

Went into my FTP and deleted the plugin, then renamed the GONZO theme folder.

This allowed me to access the Dashboard again.

    Activated the Twenty Eleven theme.

In FTP restored the name of the GONZO theme folder.

    Activated GONZO within my Dashboard.

Everything seems to be back to normal.

i ended up having to jump threw hoops for 2 days and finally got my posts back, with that, i basically redid my site from scratch without the plugin ??
my advice is NEVER USE THIS ON A CUSTOM THEME OR A SITE YOU CARE ABOUT!
this should be used on a brand new site only and then i think yr taking a risk that at the first theme update you could loose everything.

crap plugin not worth the risk IMO

% days on the forum and you are the only person to respond? thats a shame.

prodos, you just saved my shorts. Did what you said and it totally fixed my problem!

    Thanks

GRAYEFUL FOR THIS PLUGIN: I am a newbie, but one thing I am realizing…MOST problems are with the web master. This has given me a child theme! I love my new child! I Pray my child will behave! ??
