  • I can’t get One Quick Post to work either. I am trying to use it for guest submitted posts. I am using WP 3.0.1 which the latest version (0.13.9) says it is compatible with.
And the Forms creation admin is phenomenally bad.

TDO Forms is pretty bad, but if you can get it to work it is pretty robust. I get permission errors when I try to configure it no matter what permissions I set. I have made it work in earlier versions of WP, but not WP 3.0.1. https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/tdo-mini-forms/

I would love to find a good plugin for user-submissions that did not expose them to the WordPress backend. I don’t think that One Quick Post will be it.

    Puanthanh,

A new version of “One Quick Post” was made available yesterday 10/29/2010:
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/one-quick-post/

The forms creation page is still completely incomprehensible, but maybe it will solve the problems you were having. I got a form to show up, but I can’t figure out how to modify it.

Does anyone has a ready-made form for this? Or any insight into how to use the Form admin?

    Hi!
problems with One quick post here too ??
where you able to make it work?

I paste the shortcode [oqp_form “default-form”] on a post or page and nothing appears, also not the text. I am using custom community theme.
    Any ideas why?

    thanks, yani

    Yani,

I gave up on One Quick Post and went with Gravity Forms. Gravity forms costs $39 for a single site license, but it did what my client wanted.

Sorry I can’t help you with One Quick Post. I have no recollection of how I got it to make a form show up.

On shortcodes, check to be sure you are in HTML mode when you out that into a post or page, and check on the syntax–does it require double quotes or single around the form name.

Take a look at the support forum for the plugin: https://dev.pellicule.org/bbpress/

    Good luck!

Thanks so much for the answer! Those are not very good news…..but I will check it.

I got it to work only inserting the default form, so i was able to use it in one page, but i’m still trying it.

    Good luck to you too!

Hey, yes there are good news about One Quick Post.
I’ve rewritten most of the code…
But I can only work on it on my spare time.
I made a lot of work on it…. really.
I think it will be great; but I will only be able to release it when it will work perfectly.
And you know; once 95% of the work has been done, there still is 50% to do ??
If you are interested, I can send you a dev version. It is working but there are maybe some bugs.

I’m also looking for testers and developpers to help me finish all this.
…And you can make a donation, it will help !
