You could simply sign up with a different username. The account will automatically delete after 30 days if the email address isn’t validated.

Unfortunately, we can’t fix the email address or delete the account for security reasons. Additionally, because the email address is wrong, we have no way of verifying ownership of the account. So if you did really want the same username you’d have to wait the 30 day period till it becomes available again.
