• I just upgraded to the 3.0 version of the OpenID plugin, and the old functionality appears to be working.

I attempted to leave a Blogger comment using the built-in provider, though, and it’s not working. Entering https://www.nostate.com/ for my OpenID URL, I get redirected to https://www.nostate.com/wordpress/?openid_server=1… (plus a bunch more options). If I remove “wordpress/” from the URL, I see an invitation from the plugin to log on to validate.

My site is set up such that https://www.nostate.com is answered by WordPress, but wordpress itself lives in ~/wordpress rather than just ~.

Any solution out there, or is this a bug?

  • I have my website setup the same way (with WordPress in a subdirectory) and it works just fine, so that wouldn’t be why it’s breaking.

ach… was there any config required for the plugin to realize that?

have you tried logging in to any other OpenID-enabled sites, to make sure it’s not just a weird problem with Blogger?
