To me it looks like you have a section without settings in it.

You are absolutely right, the first section somehow got empty, what disoriented me was the fact that because of the first section being empty it prevented the other sections from showing. Thank you for anwsering right away.

Sweet! Yeah the problem is if there is an empty section anywhere it breaks the HTML and you get that result.

I’m having the same issue, but using OptionTree 2.07. I’m only two days into using WordPress, so bear with me. Where would I look for the empty section? and once I found it, what would I do to fix this? delete the section or add settings?

Look on the OptionTree Settings page and you will either need to delete or move the section or add settings to the section, it’s up to you.

    Ok. This is very strange.

    Problem:
Version 2.07 makes the option under User Profile > Show Documents checkbox disappear (the checkbox that allows OptionTree to show up in the sidebar).

Here’s what I did and what happened:
    (1) Go to plugins > OptionTree
    (2) Choose to deactivate and then delete it
    (3) Download older version of OptionTree – version 1.1.8.1
    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/option-tree.1.1.8.1.zip

    (4) Add plugin. Choose “upload”. Navigate to option-tree.1.1.8.1.zip file. Upload and install it. Then activate it.
    (5) Go to Users > Your Profile (scroll to bottom and check the Show Documents checkbox. (This puts the OptionTree panel in the sidebar).

    (6) Upgrade to OptionTree 2.07 in the plugins panel.
    (7) Click on the OptionTree panel in the sidebar.
    (8) Click “Add Section” button that now shows up. Type “Test Section” and click the Save Changes button. Or just click the Save Changes button without adding a section.

All of the Theme Options UI show up (e.g., basic settings, welcome!, Upload your logo, etc.)

However, if I hit refresh, or click on the OptionTree sidebar panel again, it reverts back with the error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/80/9286780/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/option-tree/includes/ot-functions-settings-page.php on line 59

    Hope this helps.

That user field no longer exists anymore as the value of that checkbox does not do anything in 2.x to alter the plugin. Settings and Docs are shown automatically and there is no reason to try and show them through the steps you wrote above.

Refreshing the page without saving will revert back to whatever was there the last time you saved. Send login details to derek[at]valendesigns.com and I’ll look at it for you.

I was contacted by Brandon (@makedesign), the developer of the WordPress Superskeleton Theme, early this morning. He just updated his theme and gave me a link to the new copy. I was able to start over with a fresh install of wordpress and his new theme and the latest version of OptionTree – 2.07 – uploaded and is working just fine.

Thanks for the prompt response and help, Derek. Very much appreciated!
