[Plugin: Page Columnist] adding more pages and posts to pages

Newbie here:
I am able to have separate columns display but get “*content missing” in place of other page content I would like to display.
Additionally, in the “[Plugin: Page Columnist] Post Columns” post, there was a way to put posts in the page column, if I understand correctly.
How would I do this?
