• Hi,

I just released an update to my Most Shared Posts Plugin, and whilst the download link has changed the page details haven’t updated from the new readme file.

I found some old posts from 6-7 months ago reporting there was a glitch; is that still a problem? Do I have to poke someone to update the page?

    Thanks!

    Tom

Been 24 hours since I updated the plugin, and still hasn’t updated the page from the readme file. Annoying that the changelog and extra features don’t show up.

Sorry to drag this up again, but it it is so annoying that 2.5 days after an update the page hasn’t updated.

If I update the readme file with an Update Notice but keep the version number for the plugin the same and push a new version to SVN, I’m assuming that won’t bug people who already updated to update again?

I really want to get the page updated. Otherwise – is there anyone I can contact?

For people who find this thread via Google…

I did exactly what I suggested above and updated just my readme to include an upgrade notice section, and pushed this to SVN. It hasn’t seemed to caused any disruption to the people who had already upgraded, but the page has now updated from the new read me file.

So… Make sure you include/update the Upgrade Notice section in your read me files – it seems to help. ??

Thanks a lot that helped! Just add commint the readme.txt and add new line under Upgrade Notice that’s says the you have updated the readme.
