[Plugin: Paid Memberships Pro] Membership levels question

  • Hello!

    The following things I want to set up on my site with this plugin:

    I have downloads(page) and would like to protect and access to my members who paid AND for members who are in the FREE group for 1 day.

    I did the embership levels:
    – Free group. If someone subscribe here, can access my downloads for 1 day for free. Here he can decides likes our downloads or not

    – 1 month group. Subscribers can access our downloads for 1 months. price: 1 dollar.

    My problem is that if Free membership group expired of user, and click on the protected content, there is the FREE group as well with other payments group.

    I would like to do that if someone had in Free, then he can not able to choose it anymore only paid membership.

    Can you help me, please?

    Oh I just noticed there’s no add user function by admin :-((( What a pity, it would be very useful if someone else starting to use the plugin from another membership content like me. I have members who has live subscription which will expire in few months, and now I can not able to add them manually:-(

    Jaycee1981, RE your first point, that’s something we have thought about and had in the works. There should be a work around via functions to add to your theme that I can whip up and post at PaidMembershipsPro.com later this weekend. Look for it there (I think you are a member).

    RE adding users manually, if you add a WP member through the admin, then edit them you’ll see a dropdown to choose the user’s membership level. I’ll try to get that dropdown showing on the new user page too in the next update.
