I was able to successfully install the plugin. After setting a new password I wanted to test it out. I was able to see the login page, and after typing my password, I got a flashed message saying correct password — redirecting… but I stayed on the login page.

This is usually caused by a caching plugin- disable all caching plugins and try again.

I also have this problem but only with Firefox. In the Internet Explorer the login redirection works fine. I have no caching plugins installed. My Firefox Version is 3.6.13.

    Hi,

Are there any particular known settings in caching plugins that are causing this problem? I ask because I’d still like to get a little optimization in there if possible while still using the password plugin.

    Thanks!

    Hi Promee,

It depends on the caching plugin and the server setup – trial and error is the best way.
