• I have FLV videos that I’d like to stream, however it appears that the entire file has to load before it playback begins. I entered a value into the Settings “Playback Behaviour > bufferlength” parameter in the Settings page, but when I saved the options, the value did not get saved.

Is there a specific embedded syntax I need to use? I’m currently using an entry similar to this:

    [flash https://someurl.com/path/movie.flv%5D

    I also tried this…
    [flash https://someurl.com/path/movie.flv f={bufferlength=2}]
…but the entire movie still loads before playback.

    Thanks!!

  • yes, i have the same problem. i would also like to specifie the bufferlength, but when i put for example “5”, it doesent save it. whats wrong? thanks for answere.

Maybe the player (or the version I use?) cannot handle to (pre-)buffer that file format or the format does not support this. MP4s work for me.
