• Hi,
I’ve just created my first website and am hitting a problem in Internet Explorer (version 8). I am using Photo_Galleria to display images and have set the container colour to white which looks great in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. However, in IE, the container background shows up as a solid black box and nothing I try fixes this. Does anyone have any experience or ideas regarding this?
    Thanks,
    MusaGrafica.

Hey MusaGrafica. We updated the plugin to 0.3.5 this week. That should fix all IE issues. Let me know if you still have IE problems. Thanks.

I’m using 0.3.6, but still experiencing the same background-color issue with IE (v7). Cannot change the background color to anything else but the default black. Please advise.

Hi wongbri. Do you mean the background color of the slideshow container? That’s controlled by .galleria-container { }. If the settings don’t work – make sure your color setting uses the format #000000 – then try adding CSS to your site in the form of .galleria-container { background-color: red !important; }. HTH.

Yes, background color of the container I was talking about. I’ve done both changing the setting and added the script to the style.css, but same as what happened to MusaGrafic. It shows alright in Chrome, but IE (v7) always shows in black no matter color I set.
    Thanks for your prompt response.

Email your site to philip [at] graphpaperpress [dot] com and I’ll take a look at it when I’m back to work on Sunday. Thanks.
