Plugin photo slide problems & more?

So about 5 days ago I started getting messages at the top of my dashboard. 1 saying this: One or more plugins have been activated or deactivated, please empty the page cache.

The other keeps on telling me every photo upload failed to upload to server please empty upload list.

Now I have just spent the last 10 hours trying to add a photo slide show to one of my posts and have tried about 15 photo slider plug-ins of which none of them are working!
