Hello The Living Legend. Internal server error is difficult server error and can appear due to several reasons. Are you sure that this url gives you that error? https://_YOUR_BLOG_ADRESS_/wp-admin/admin.php?page=phototag/phototag.php
May be you have some restrictions in your php server(= may be your server’s php.ini is more restricted than default php.ini-es).
We have tested the plugin more than 10 blogs before upload to www.ads-software.com, and it worked fine. Let’s try to find the reason of your server problem. And if it is bug, we will fix and update it immeditially.

Yep, definitely that URL that it appears on. I’ve been using a number of community type plugins for a while now – such as Mingle, AJAX Easy Attendance List, CubePoints and a few others – all of which seem to be operating unrestricted. Plus my host assure me that there are no limitations imposed via the use of php.ini files, or in any other way. In fact they’ve even made custom ones for me to help me resolve other issues on other non-wordpress sites (such as file uploads).

I’m keeping it deactivated just now to be on the safe side. With respect 10 blogs is no guarantee that it’ll work on most blogs, and I assume not each blog was on a separate host (therefore being powered by a different type of server and server-side software)?

Yes of course, i have testes it in several hostings. And my friends also tested. No any problem. I want to say that if an error were 404 or something like this, then it would seem as plugin bug, but 500 error is server settings problem in most cases.
