[Plugin: PHPBB Single Sign On] Update to 0.8.6 broke plugin

  • Plugin was working with two seperate databases, updated to 0.8.6, plugin states “PHP Single Sign On is almost ready. You have to Follow the instructions for it to work.” Test states the only failure is auth mode. Recommended “wpbb” current “”.
    PHPBB states auth mode is already “Wpbb”. Cannot change from “Apache” to “wpbb” in WordPress plugin. Please help this to be fixed. Thank you so much for your time and assistance.

    Hi,

    when this happens it’s not a problem.

    Actually, your configuration should work just like that.

    The fact is that the auth mode is taken from phpbb’s database.
    and we use the wordpress login to access it.

    If your forum worked before, it’ll still work.

    I’ll try to finish the support for multiple databases ASAP. but in the meantime, the plugin should work

    I’m actually have a very similar problem. I updated to 0.8.6 and I just cannot seem to get it to function. It faults the forums. The website can be seen at defcon1.info.

    What is the error?

    I keep getting these errors now. what seems to be the problem?
    Also renders forums inaccessible. Thanks for your time!

    @duanemizell you’re welcome, I’ll try from now on to keep this plugin up to date and answer the posts.

    @plannb23 It seems “common.php” wasn’t copied correctly, does the wordpress control panel say that everything works ?

    @djmutagen quite the same question for you. did you configure the plugin from wordpress. because it seems the “auth_wpbb.php” file is missing you can try to copy it manually from the plugins “files” folder
