I recently installed Picasa Album Uploader but have yet to get it to operate successfully. I’ve set permalinks to “custom structure: /%postname%/” and I’ve installed the button in Picasa 3 successfully. But, when I select a picture and login through the pop up window I always get a “Sorry, but no pictures were received from Picasa” message. What gives?

I appreciate everybodies time and consideration!

My best guess right now is that you have either a PHP or Apache configuration that is limiting the length of POST variable names. There’s a discussion in the plugin documentation about this.

Looks like moderation of the forum has become aggressive when it comes to “code”. This is the first time I’m seeing the data being removed.

Should following the guidance in the doc not resolve the issue, please repost the log file information via pastebin.

Not sure how pastebin is suppose to integrate with this forum post. Here is the link to my public paste:

What errors do you see in your apache error log from the same time?

Since you get logged in OK and get to the selection screen for upload I highly suspect the problem is an apache plugin or configuration setting that is restricting the length of the POST variables. If that’s the case I would expect errors to appear in the apache error log file.
