  • This is kind of a dead thread, but I wanted to let you know I recently added this feature into my fork of Register Plus (which Pie Register is also forked off). My plugin, Register Plus Redux is compatible with custom fields made in either Register Plus or Pie Register, however, my plugin does not support paid memberships, if you are using that feature of Pie Register.

    Hey Radiok,

Any plans for membership in your fork?

Pie seems to have less development activity, than Redux. I am actually using Redux and you saved me numerous hours (I’ll be donating to you shortly in appreciation) of programming. Or rather I wasted numerous hours of programming before my RSS reader notified me that your plugin was out there due to your latest build.

I’m working on a non-profit project who has annual dues that needs to be collected.

jlsniu, thank you for your donation, I really appreciate being recognized for my efforts. I saw you’re response on another thread, so you know how I feel about setting up paid memberships. And I feel a bit torn, I can see the merits for a non-profit, but I hate to tell you this still isn’t at the top of my priorities. However, I do think I will implement this, eventually. Which might sound like a blowoff, but trust me (as much as you can trust anyone on the internet!), paid memberships will be included in Redux, if for no other reason than to save those poor souls stuck with Pie Register.

Thanks for the response. I totally understand your position. I’m am a php-er by trial and error. If I come up with any code for this task, I’ll be sure and donate it back to you. Your plugin is invaluable!
