[Plugin: Pinterest "Pin It" Button] Pin it count not showing up

This just started cropping up yesterday (May 28), and it’s not just my plugin. It’s for anyone using Pinterest’s embed code from https://pinterest.com/about/goodies/#button_for_websites. We’ll have to wait on them to fix it.

Thanks for the fast reply Phil, I was just getting ready to say the same thing and wondered if it wasn’t actually at the Pinterest end and not the plugin. I went to see if they had said anything and when I came back you had responded. ?? I do hope they get it fixed soon.

I’ve tried a lot of Pinterest plugins and by far this one is the easiest and best. Thank you for an awesome plugin.

Ok, I’m so new to this. So I’m using the Social Sharing Toolkit plugin for all of my buttons… does this mean I’ll have to wait it out as well because I also have the dash appearing?

Indeed thanks for your quick response, in the meantime i also noticed the dash on every site i go to. I hope they can resolve it quickly at pinterest because this is annoying.

In the article above you mention to disable count but when i do this the dash still appears next to the small button at the left side so i decided to keep the dash for now.

Its not a solution… but I was able to set count-layout=”none” in the anchor tag to remove the count all together. This way at least it doesn’t “look” broken while they fix it.

It seems like they’ve fixed it. Checked my wordpress sites this morning.
