[Plugin: PiwigoPress] Lightbox support!? [feature request]

  • Hi Vince,

    have you ever considered to implement a kind of link to the images, that when you click on it the image would be displayed for example in a lightbox or any other pop-up plugin that is used on a blog, instead of linking to the image on the gallery?

    I know that you are already bringing up a great enhancement in how we can link images but this one might be another nice feature to have ??

    Hi Joerg,

    You’re perfectly right.
    I am bringing a new release without a pop-up solution yet.
    But next release could have it in its options.

    Thanks to provide good ideas.
    Should it be one of link type option of:
    1 – Shortcode
    2 – Sidebar Widget
    3 – Both
    ???

    how can you ask?

    Give us all, but first the shortcode option would make perfect sense and use to me ??

    I don’t make usage of the widget up to now but it might come soon.

    Hi Vince,

    do you have an update on this? It would be great to have a fourth link option that would link to the image file itself so if you would click on the image (what ever size you have chosen before) would open in a lightbox (or any other pop up effect like shadow box) that a user has configured in his WP.

    I would love to see it on the shortcode part of the plugin.
