[Plugin: Platinum SEO] Home page details not showing

  • Even though I have filled in data for the Home title and description, they are not being used in the resultant source code.

    The Title is showing in the browser as the URL, https://www.peterwade.com/. The description is picking up the code in the Home page:

<meta name="robots" content="index,follow,noodp,noydir" />
<meta name="description" content="[most-recent-post]" />
<link rel="canonical" href="https://www.peterwade.com/" />

<!-- /platinum one seo pack -->

    The <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://www.peterwade.com/&#8221; /> is also showing earlier in the header.

    How do I get Platinum SEO to work? I could not find no help at their web site.
