[Plugin Platinum SEO Pack] and Simple Tags

Can the Platinum SEO Pack 1.3.3 work on my blog along with the Simple Tags plugin? Or should I deactivate the Simple Tags plugin to enable the Platinum plugin to work as it should? I’m trying to find the right plugin to generate some tags that will help to strengthen my SEO efforts as well as to improve the titles and meta descriptions for my various posts. Any instructions regarding this matter would be appreciated. Thanks
