  • Podcast Media hosting is a paid service provided by Blubrry.com. The plugin works without using our service. Even with blubrry services, you still have to use an application to upload the media files, either via FTP or with the Blubrry Media uploader application. We will soon have a pop-up window available for paid hosting users, but the actual media file uploading takes place on blubrry.com servers, not within the PowerPress plugin in your WordPress blog.

Uploading very large files from within PHP applications is very tricky because many web servers are configured with a magnitude of file upload size limits ranging from 512K to 8M. It is possible for users who have full control of their server to increase the file size upload limit by editing their PHP.ini. If you can increase your file size upload limit, you can use the media uploader built into WordPress.
