I defined an absolute path for my podcast, and was able to select it in my post.

The player shows up with the file name but it isn’t pointing to the absolute path (/wp-content/uploads/podpress), however it is pointing the /wp-content/uploads/ folder and giving a file not found.

Any idea on how to correct?

    Does the problem still exists?
I have tried to play your test episode with the Flash player (1Pixelout) on the web site and did not observe a problem. It is also no problem to play the file with the players in Chrome or IE 9 or Safari.

On the general settings page are two settings concerning the location of the files. If you define a “Absolute path of the media files directory (optional)” then “URL of the media files directory” needs to point to the same place.

A further more general hint is to avoid white-spaces in file names. That works on your local computer but it may lead to problems in the web.

Yes I instead put the URL instead of picking from the drop down. I will continue to do that. Thank you for checking, that helps me verify things are working!
