[Plugin: podPress] Podango and PodPress

  • Since Podango is down ‘on vacation’ as they say, anyone with the ‘integrate Podango’ box checked in the options/settings will have errors on the post/page Edit box. This causes a huge increase in the time it takes the edit pages to load, since it cannot connect to the podango site. Unchecking the option fixes the long load time and the error messages. Not sure how this will be affected when they come back up.

  • I can reproduce this behaviour and I have noticed some PHP warnings, too which explain the problem: the unavailable Podango-API.

    In my opinion it could be a good idea to add an explaining notice (e.g. with a link to the old Podango press release) to this check box. What did you think about it?

    Is this feature still relevant for you? Have still some podcast episode on there servers? And are these episode still reachable?
