[Plugin: podPress] Podcast not compatable with WP 2.6

If anyone comes across this thread looking for the IE7 crashing bug, the problem is in the code that generates the embedded player. If you set the player to “Pop-up Only” your site should work again.

Podpress support forums are down obviously now.

Anyone have a summarized update on how you got podpress to work for WP2.6?

The PodPress patch linked to by Otto42 (https://azaozz.wordpress.com/2008/07/31/podpress-in-wordpress-26/) fixed my install. Applied Web Vitals is currently using WordPress version 2.6.3 and PodPress version 8.8.

The fix at azaozz.wordpress.com does not work for us. (thank you though otto in the past for other fixes that did work)

We have many authors that have not been able to post since they use IE. We have many podcasts, in the hundreds on our site. We can not switch to blubrry since many of our posts have more than one podcast in them.

We can turn off podPress so they can post but then readers email they can not use the audio files.

It appears that podPress is abandoned, does anyone know a good plugin that can embed more than one audio file?
