    It was my fault, i did replace the code instead of adding on line 234!

    It works perfect now!

    How will the modified plugin react when upgrading next time?

    Good. Everything should be be kept working the next time you will upgrade polylang as I will include the modification in the next release. So you will not need to edit the code again.
