[Plugin: Polylang] Problem with galleries

Polylang should do nothing special for galleries. I am not familiar with galleries and I don’t see what’s wrong in your example.

HI believe this is related with polylang, as it is poly lang which sets gallery for both posts all the time.

I believe I understand your problem. You attached media to the first post and then try to attach the same to the second post. But as far as I understood, attachments can be attached to only one post. And thus, since the gallery shortcode looks for attachments, it finds nothing for the second post.
To make it work you would have to create new attachments (but it means duplicate media files ?? )

v0.9 now includes media support and you can create “translations” of attachments without duplicating media files. Maybe you should give it a try (although I do not recommend it on a production site for now).

However, Polylang should not automatically create a gallery in the translation. it does this for the thumbnail, but not for the gallery.
