• I am trying to resize the feature thumbnail. The original is 150×150 pixels but I would like to show a larger version. It seems that when I do this, it always defaults to the original size – I can make it smaller though. It also maintains the aspect ratio although I would rather it did not.

    [post-list numberposts=6 category=show orderby=post_date order=DESC show_excerpt=1 excerpt_length=20 show_image=1 image_width=300 image_height=300]

Do I have something wrong in the syntax? How can I make the images larger than the original and cropped to a different proportion?

  • I’m having a similar issue but I want to make the image smaller and cannot.

    [post-list exclude_current=0 category="48" numberposts="1" show_image="true" show_excerpt="true" excerpt_length="80" image_width="80" image_height="80"]

Everything seems to show it’s just the image won’t become smaller. I do wish to maintain aspect ratio.

Same problem, but with post-content. Images were properly resizing to the height & width I’d designated, then all of a sudden they stopped, and now they are full size.

I’m going to try deactivating other plugins and report back if I find something.

No help by deactivating or removing other plugins.

OK, I was able to resolve the issue by downloading an older version of the plugin (0.3.1) from the developer page:
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/post-content-shortcodes/developers/

It seems the problem was introduced in the 0.3.2 update and persists in the 0.3.3 dev version.

Just to be clear, this issue should be fixed in 0.3.2.1 (the current stable version of the plugin). Thanks for making me aware of it.

    Hi Curtiss,

I am using the latest version since I downloaded it yesterday.

I am using the command as ………….

    [post-content id=642 show_excerpt=1 excerpt_length=20 show_image=1 image_width=100 image_height=100]

However, the problem is remaining the same as the picture size is not getting reduced at all.

    Please help.
