[Plugin: Post Expirator] Add to a category instead of replacing

Hi, would it be possible to add a feature so you can add the post to a specified category (instead of replacing all the post’s categories by that one)? Or if you could give a hint on what should be changed in the code to do so (i already altered the code in order to use custom taxonomies) Thanks !!
