[Plugin: Posterous Importer] Only pulls 140 out of 800 media

  • This plugin actually works better than the “first import to wordpress.com and use that export file” route. The media all look nicely formatted in the target self-hosted wordpress blog.

    The problem is that out of 800+ photos, only 140 were imported. For the rest of the posts the links to the media still go to Posterous.com.

    This plugin would be perfect if it just grabbed all the media.

    Is there any solution to this?

    The Add Linked Images To Gallery brings in the rest of the photos!

    All the images appear to be local now. The only issue is that the href attributes for the anchor tags around the images aren’t adjusted by this plugin, so the picture links still go to posterous.

    I wonder if there is a way of globally changing all the links which surround the images?

    Have you tried the Media Tools plugin? I just found it and it works GREAT, also updates the link around the images.
