[Plugin: Posts 2 Posts] Accessing connection info from parent's custom post type

Scribu, thanks a bunch for this wicked plugin!
That said I have to ask you guys if you know a workaround to get the parent’s custom post type connection data.

I have two CPT disciplines and works. I need to use disciplines also as a ‘taxonomy’ therefore after thinking and thinking I’ve decided to do a sort of nasty approach by creating a child of each discipline called ‘related work’ (yes, for every discipline) so I can go to /disciplines/social-media/related-work and get all the ‘works’ connected with ‘social media’.

Any idea how can I do this?
