    I don’t understand what you mean by “connect a post to a custom post type using a value of a custom field“. Could you give an example?

    i want to connect a post to a custom post type (book) with custom field “isbn code”.

    because is it possible the book id will change i’d like to connect the 2 objets by the isbn code. and if is it possible it would be fantastic to insert the isbn code and get the title of the book i want associate!

    Sorry, but Posts 2 Posts does not work like that. It needs IDs.

    But if the ID changes, then the ISBN code would also be lost, since custom fields are tied to posts using IDs as well. I recommend you revise your strategy.

    i have 2 posts types 1 is businesses and the 2nd is product…i have created a posts to posts connection using this plugin…

    now i want my front end user to add products and i want them to show a connection for post type business to select from the list…

    how i can enable the connection box on front end template for user!!!
