• I just came across another problem. I set up some of the profiles for my guest contributors. So I need to be able to edit them (change their member level after posts are assigned to them, add their social media profiles for your plugin, etc.).

When your plugin is activated I can’t always save their profiles. Every once in a while it seems to work. But most of the time trying save the profile returns a 404 error saying user-edit.php can’t be found.

I deactivated a variety of plugins, and this one is definitely the problem.

After playing with it a bit more, I noticed the problem always happened when I tried to save someone’s Google+ profile info. The plugin says you can include the profile or the full url, but the full url seems to cause issues (tried with and without the extra G+ url formatting). When I enter just their account number, then it seems to save. Or I just got lucky. I’m not sure as it’s been a bit sporadic. But if there’s a bug, hopefully that helps to pinpoint it.

I’ve tried every single possibility (whole URL, Google+ handle, tried changing my colleagues user details) and everything works fine.

Which theme are you using? Can you try disabling all your plugins and switching to a default WordPress theme. Maybe it’s a theme related issue.

I already did that yesterday which is how I figured out it only happened with your plugin installed. When your added profile fields weren’t in there, everything worked fine. ??

Now that I at least have it working with one particular G+ profile format, I’ll just keep trying it that way. If the problem starts happening when I use that method too I’ll come back and let you know and hopefully we can pinpoint what the issue is. I just wanted to let you know in case anyone else was affected. ??

    Sure, thanks for reporting it.
