Plugin Prevents Admin from Editing User Profiles
-
I just came across another problem. I set up some of the profiles for my guest contributors. So I need to be able to edit them (change their member level after posts are assigned to them, add their social media profiles for your plugin, etc.).
When your plugin is activated I can’t always save their profiles. Every once in a while it seems to work. But most of the time trying save the profile returns a 404 error saying user-edit.php can’t be found.
I deactivated a variety of plugins, and this one is definitely the problem.
After playing with it a bit more, I noticed the problem always happened when I tried to save someone’s Google+ profile info. The plugin says you can include the profile or the full url, but the full url seems to cause issues (tried with and without the extra G+ url formatting). When I enter just their account number, then it seems to save. Or I just got lucky. I’m not sure as it’s been a bit sporadic. But if there’s a bug, hopefully that helps to pinpoint it.
