2022, 6th May: Hi. I’m working on my site’s privacy policy and would like to clarify the way your plugin handles personal data? Does the plugin share personal data with third parties? Does the plugin collect personal data? If so, what data and where is it stored? I cannot locate information from your readme.txt files of your plugin.

Do you have a published privacy policy to which you can provide a link? Kind regards.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi 59petals,

After the plugin is installed (and activated) check out the suggested policies on the Privacy Policy Guide page:

    https://www.example.com/wp-admin/options-privacy.php?tab=policyguide

(…where https://www.example.com needs to be replaced by your domain).

+++++ To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes +++++

@nlpro I appreciate iThemes providing those text via the admin dashboard. If I understand correctly, it appears that information will be flushed out eventually (cookies after an hour, others after 60 days). I will not have comment posting available in my website so nothing to collect there but something to review later if I do. A little overwhelmed with end user personal data privacy (me on a five year old brain working on creating a website) but I guess it looks fine. Thanks, nlpro – I’ve seen your comments all over the support threads all the way back when. Extremely helpful community member!

Thank you for your kind words ??
