[Plugin: Private Only] What could be easier? Great plugin!

As a comparison, Private! WordPress Access Control Manager is another great plugin for securing your WordPress site, but has so many options that you are just a likely to lock yourself out of your own site as to configure it correctly the first time through.
With Private Only, just activate it and it’s companion plugin “Private Only, Disable Feed” (a nice thing to include), make a couple of settings choices, and you are done… and it works!
