[Plugin: Pronamic iDEAL] Sisow iDeal basic payment status

If you use the iDEAL Easy or Basic/Lite variant the payment status will not be updated. With these variants your payment provider will not post the status of the payment to your website. There is also not an function to request the payment of the status from the payment provider. Therefor we can’t change the payment status of the Gravity Forms entry.

Since the payment process with ideal basis is a 2 step process:
1. fill out form and submit to second page
2. continue to sisow for payment

It’s hard to identify who actually completed step 2.

Might you have an idea if I can perform an action on the payment succes – return page which can update the status? (since sisow does return to a page based on payment succes/faillure)

Why don’t you use the “Sisow – iDEAL Advanced” variant? The Pronamic iDEAL plugin should then be able the retrieve the payment status from Sisow and update the Gravity Forms entry. The return of an visitor to the success page is not a guarantee of payment.

I’ll look into that. Sisow doesn’t advertise on the site a clear choice between basic & advanced. I’ll look into that tomorrow. Any idea about the costs? (I’m building this for a non profit so transaction fees matter to them)

I already noticed that I don’t have an upload field for the certificate and mailed sisow support if they can add it to my account.

Thanks, costwise sisow ideal basic & advanced are the same, so there was no reason not to switch to advanced. Now the status is changed in wordpress.

Still a few check to do but it seems to be working fine now.
