[Plugin: Prospress] Non Object error on Auctions page

on WordPress 3.3 this plugin throws the following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function the_winning_bid_value() on a non-object in /auctions/wp-content/plugins/prospress/pp-bids/pp-bids-templatetags.php on line 30
on any page which attempts to display the current price of auction items.
