Michel: your issue was the one described in psnGallery question ?

Hi, no, I had installed a development installation of WP and Coppermine with psnGallery to see in detail how the two are working together: I must say that this is pretty cool and very handy!!! During the installation I made a stuppid mistake but solved i, that is why I deleted the post.
I am also running the alpha version of Gallery 2.0 (finally database driven) and I must say that one is very nice so I decided to stick with gallery and will upgrade later to gallery2 when released… I hope this wonderful plug-in will then someday come available for gallery2 as well … ??

Michiel: Thanks for the flowers ! ;o)
About the Gallery2…..Who knows….May be….I will see….Let’s say I never close a door on the kind of things like that….

the version 1.3.1. is available for download on my site :
    blog.idahocline.info
    Some new functionnalities…..

I implemented this on my blog. To see, go here:
    https://www.publichealthcenter.com/blogs/clay
and click on “Gallery,” right below the calendar.
(just so you can see how I redid the theme to match the blog.) Coppermine is awesome, and the integration package provided by idahocline is awesome, too.

Oh, yeah… pictures link in from posts, too, as you can see from here:
    https://www.publichealthcenter.com/blogs/clay/index.php?p=50

is it me or is this site down where i can download it?

Download what… coppermine or the WP package to implement it? The first is at coppermine.sourceforge.net
The package to hook them together is here:

    Hi
I just download the plugin and I found some of the tags di not function very well in my site.
For example, I put this ‘<?php CPGAlbumName(2); ?>’ to show the name of my 2nd album
    in my menu. Nothing appeared.
Also this tag ‘CPGAlbumPicCount($albumid)’ is not normal on my site either.
I have to use ‘<?php echo CPGAlbumPicCount($albumid)’ instead of the one without ‘echo’ to show the number.
Is there anything i should know?
If i want to list all my album and their inside pics no such as:
    xxxxx(12)
    yyyyy(10)
    zzzzzzz(20)
    How should i do exactly?
    Thanks

When I enable the plugin I get an error from wordpress:
We're having a little trouble selecting the proper database for WordPress.
    Are you sure it exists?
Your database name is currently specified as webguynj_WordPress. Is this correct?
On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like
username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?
the database name is case sensitive...

I’m having the same problems and that doesn’t seem to be the case for me. Any other things I can check to make this work. Would really like to get this thing going. Thanks.
    Kevin

I have a problem with the psnCPGAdmin plugin. The gallery integration is working fine via pasted tags in posts but if I try to activate the admin plugin I end up getting errors on almost all pages regarding magic quotes, for example :
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare add_magic_quotes() (previously declared in /home/tegan/public_html/wp-admin/post.php:6) in /home/tegan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/psnCPGAdmin.php on line 3
Being a PHP idiot I have no idea what any of that means, anybody else have any thoughts on the topic?

I posted a couple posts back.. got it all figured out, it was my error with a database issue.
This thing is great! Thanks for all your work. I have a few questions though:
I see that there is an in-post tag to put the last uploaded images in. Is there a tag that will allow you to do that, but have it then stick with that newest image from that date? What I want to do is make posts to wordpress whenever I update my gallery and have the thumbnails shown from what I updated at that time. But I don’t want the posts to ever change. The way it is now, if I update the gallery, it is shown in the post (even if it’s a month old).
Do both the psnCPGAdmin.php and psnGallery2.php files go in the wordpress plugins directory? You might want to include that in your install instructions. I found them pretty hard to follow, and it took several reads to figure out what I needed to do. How am I supposed to access the admin interface? Just by typing in the url?
Have the same problems as someone from a few posts above. The cpg_albumcatlist, albumname, albumpiccount, categoryname tags show nothing for me within wordpress posts.
Last question, what are the “activelink” and “dummy” parameters? They’re not in your explanation.
    Thanks
    kevin

    Last post.. I’m spamming now.
Okay, I read through the instructions again and see where I have to place the psnCPGAdmin.php and psnGallery2.php files. I’d suggest adding that info to the clean installation section of your instructions. The way it is now, it’s buried inside the upgrade instructions, so I had never even read it.
So, I’ve got the admin section setup and it looks great. But the ‘View it’ function doesn’t seem to do anything at all. The ordering(sorting) doesn’t work either. I was hoping that would give me each picture’s id so I could then make posts with a SPECIFIC image, but nothing happens so I’m at a loss. Hope you log back on to the boards here soon and help some of us out or update to let us know if you’ve got a new version in the works. It’s a great plugin and exactly what I need, but it’s no good to me if I can’t make it work right.
    Thanks again.

what a list of questions !
Okay let’s start with the first one :

    • “last uploaded from date until date” tag requires development..But can be done “easily”. Probably for next release
    • As described in the readme, you have to copy “psnCPGAdmin.php” in the wp-admin directory and you have to update the menu.php also to add the option. (full info at https://blog.idahocline.info/index.php/archives/2004/07/25/psngallery-2-sticky-information
    • cpg_albumcatlist, albumname, albumpiccount, categoryname issue: I am working on…. (oops)
    • “activelink” and “dummy”: “activelink” is to (de)activate the link tag on the image, and “dummy” is for “internal dummy” works… ;o)

As you had already understood I am rather busy ! So, sorry if I not logged on this site and on my site every day…
