[Plugin: Q and A – FAQ Plugin] Search function returns empty page?

  • Hi,

    First of alle thanks for the great plugin, it’s exactly what I was looking for.

    However I have 1 issue. When I add the searchbox to the FAQ page, the search returns an archive page with the matched FAQ items. So far so good. It is probably using a standard archive page for this?

    Then when I click through to the actual FAQ item it returns an empty page. Also when I click “preview” within WP admin for one of my FAQ items it returns an empty page.

    Any idea what could cause this? Could it be permalink related perhaps? I use: /%category%/%postname%/
    I also use the plugin “no category base”

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Hi Eric,
    Can you post a link? I this is definitely permalink related… did you try refreshing your permalinks?

    I don’t have a link yet, I am trying this out on a live site, the page is not yet live (draft). I put it live for a few minutes to see how it worked only. Yes, have refreshed the perm links a few times and emptied the cache.

    I’ll do some further reading on custom post types and permalinks first, maybe it’s something I can solve.

    I’ll let you know.
