[Plugin: Quick Post Widget] implementing geotags for quick posts (vis geo mashup plugin ?)

I want to add geo-mashup to the quick post area (I have it in my posts). I wonder if its possible to do so… or if you guys have an idea on how to implement geotagging for quick posts.
