[Plugin: Quote Rotator] quotes overlapping other widgets when use the widget in more than one sideba

The widget version worked great when I added it to one sidebar. However, when I added it to another sidebar (the site has several templates) it messes up the display of the first. The quotes overlap the next widget as if it has no height assigned to it. I played around with the height option, but that didn’t help in that particular sidebar.
