Is there a way to customize this plugin to give users the ability to edit the custom fields for their posts just as it gives them to edit the content field?

Also, I cannot allow users access to the entire media library. Is there a way to make it so that if they want to add or edit an existing image wihtin the post, they can only upload from their own computer?

    Hi Vegas,

This plugin currently just lets you use the Media Library with the same settings as the standard WordPress editor.

I’m not sure, but an existing media library plugin might effect the media library items available to the user when editing – perhaps give this a try, and let me know if you weren’t able to solve this problem with a media-library specific plugin?

I’ve added the ability to specify an additional jQuery selector for textareas you might want the editor to be applied to. This should work on any admin backend page.

Check the Raptor plugin’s options page to see what I mean ??

    Faceleg,

Thanks for your response. What I’m specifically looking to do is give post authors the ability to make edits to their posts from the front end. Each post has several custom fields that I’d like them to be able to edit. The custom fields are meta data that I have set to display within the post itself on the front end. They are not custom fields for functions, they are simply custom fields for displaying certain types of content such as thumbnail and additional content.

I’d like to use your Raptor plugin to give them the ability to click on a custom field (or the post thumbnail) to give them the ability to edit that specific custom field through the site’s front end. Is this possible?
