First, I love this plugin! But I’m having a problem. I’ve set it up to have the buddypress activities shows as thumbs not stars. But it keeps switching back and forth. One load it’ll show thumbs, next stars, the next could be either lol. Also it’s doing the same with blog comments.

If I go into the admin settings, it does show the right settings there.
Any ideas how to fix this?
    Thanks!

Can you please send me a url to a page with the problem so I can check it.

I am also having the same problem. It saves in the admin panel, but doesn’t actually make the changes on the site. I tried to change the star graphic to the USB stick and I also set it to not allow you to rate without being logged in first.

It still shows as stars and allows you to rate when not logged in.

I tested in Chrome, IE, and Firefox (All latest versions) and on two computers.

Using WordPress ver 3.2.1 and BuddyPress 1.2.9

Love the plugin, just need it to work.

    URL is https://www.nerdcrafters.com

    Thx! ??

Dear Darcanis, I would like to check this problem more deeply, can you please create a temporary admin account for me so I can check this out by myself (my email is [email protected]).

BTW. I can’t rate it, so not logged in users can’t rate (this setting seems to be saved correctly).

I setup an account for you and emailed the info.

Found your problem (WP Super Cache Plugin):

    1. First of all, the Front Page Post ratings settings were set to stars.

    2. Even-though I’ve changed it to DiskOnKeys, it still remained the same. The first thing that came to my mind is – CACHING. And I was right, you had “WP Super Cache” plugin activated. I’ve disabled it and BOOM! the ratings show the right graphics.

    Enjoy ??

    Excellent!!! Thank you!

I thought caching as well, but only checked the browser caches. Didn’t realize WordPress had installed and activated caching by default when I had installed the new version. I haven’t worked with WordPress in a few years as have been using Joomla. For the new site though I felt WordPress was a better fit, what with all the changes and improvements over the years.

Thanks again! It is much appreciated!
