Plugin Recommendations
-
Hi All,
I’m looking to build a website that I would normally do using just HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
However, I’m thinking I might want to try this one using WordPress. Problem is, there are so many plugins out there, I’m unsure of which ones I need to accomplish what I want to.
Here is what I want to do:
1. Have a user register, be logged in after registration, and be taken to their new account page.
2. Account page will consist of forms for the data I need. Multiple forms is more likely as I will want to break the data I need into sections.
3. Need user to be able to upload .pdf & .doc and see the links to them when finished, so the can click on them if needed. They also need to be able to delete to document uploaded.
4. Need user to be able to save forms as they go as it might take more than one login to get it all done.
5. Need user to be able to login and have the forms populated with information already saved by that user.
6. No payment is needed.
7. Admin (me) needs to be able to: see listing of all users (table-like fashion), click on one of the users and be taken to their account, where I can review all the forms and make entries if need be. I may also need to rename or delete their uploaded documents.
So, it sounds like to me I need MEMBERSHIP and FORMS plugin. I’ve seen Ninja, Gravity, and Formidable Forms, but don’t have any experience with any of them. No idea which membership plugin would be best. What do you recommend?
Are there more plugins required for me to accomplish this? If so, which ones to you recommend and why?
Thank you very much for any help you can give.
Michael
