[Plugin: Redirection] Redirecting "sub" domains to existing posts

Greetings all. Tried to find if this type of query had been previously cast to this forum, but didn’t find any, so here goes.

Scenario:
User enters myhomeaddress[dot]thissite[dot]com

Was hoping Redirection plug-in would take user to this:
thissite[dot]com/my-home-address

Unless my noob set-up is to blame, this doesn’t occur.

Perhaps someone has a solution? Although this could certainly be set-up on a case by case basis, I’d naturally rather automate this process.

Any clues? Perhaps a simple (or not so simple ?? ) htaccess rule?
