I’ve been using this plugin for over a year, and recently signups are not working correctly. When a user checks out they fill out their account details and information and when you click “submit and checkout” it immediately redirects to the home page. The payment will go through successfully (if it was for a paid membership) but it doesn’t associate the order correctly to them. In the “Orders” it says user is None.

The user account in WP is created successfully but again, the association with pmpro and the user is not there. I am collecting additional fields using the register helper plugin by pmpro, and unfortunately it doesn’t collect their details at all either.

What is the problem? Do i need to roll back the plugin or is there another issue? I have SSL on my site so i dont see how it would be a redirection problem.

    Thank you

I switched themes to 2019 and still the same behaviour, i will test deactivating some plugins, I also tried rolling back all the way to version 2.0 and still the same behaviour. I’m not sure what has happened. but if you could give any guidance that would help a lot. Thank you

The plugin causing the problem was the miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication plugin. It’s a great plugin…unfortunately i had to get rid of it due to the problem and switch to a different 2FA plugin. Very sad

    Hi @121940kz,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro. I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.

Plugins that may interfere with the user registration process such as a 2FA plugin usually cause these type of issues (as we use the WordPress method to register and login the user – so plugins running code on the same hooks may interfere with the registration process).

I’m glad to hear that you have figured it out.

Have a great day further! ??
